Podiatry

V.A.C.Roosje, podiatrist

A podiatrist treats people with foot problems and complaints caused by abnormal function of the foot, an abnormal foot position or abnormal gain. It is generally in relation to pain and suffering of the feet, ankles, knees, hips and back. Podiatrists also give preventative advice.

The treatments of a podiatrist consist of remedial or protective techniques such as brace and shoe sole corrections. The purpose of the treatments is to eliminate, reduce or compensate for the complaints.
